Clinical Support Tools Disclaimer

How APRN Academy documentation and interview support tools may and may not be used.

Education only. APRN Academy teaches business, coding, and billing concepts. Nothing here is legal, tax, compliance, or individualized billing advice, and no continuing education credit is offered.

Clinician-controlled support tools only

Any documentation, interview-structuring, or note-support tool offered by APRN Academy is a clinician-controlled aid. It organizes your own thinking and your own words. It does not practise medicine, does not make decisions, and has no authority over your care.

Not a diagnosis and not a medical device

These tools do not diagnose, do not screen patients, do not generate treatment plans, and are not cleared or approved as a medical device. Any output labelled as a consideration or a draft is exactly that: a prompt for your professional judgment.

You are the author of the record

You must read, edit, verify, and take full professional responsibility for anything you place in a patient record. Do not paste tool output into a chart without reviewing it against what actually happened in the encounter.

No patient identifiers

Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, contact details, or any direct identifiers into an APRN Academy tool. These tools are not a HIPAA-covered clinical system and are not part of your EHR.

Licensed clinicians only

These tools are intended for licensed clinicians working within their own scope, state law, supervision or collaboration requirements, and employer policy. They are not for patient or public self-assessment.
