Legal

Terms of Use

The terms governing use of the APRN Academy website, live classes, consultations, and materials.

Education only. APRN Academy teaches business, coding, and billing concepts. Nothing here is legal, tax, compliance, or individualized billing advice, and no continuing education credit is offered.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, registering for a live class, requesting a consultation, or purchasing anything from APRN Academy, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

APRN Academy is operated by Larry Wilkes, MSN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C. Questions about these terms can be sent to lwilkes@aprnacademy.com.

2. Education only

APRN Academy provides business education only. Nothing on this site or in any class constitutes legal, tax, accounting, credentialing, billing, coding, compliance, employment, insurance, or clinical advice. You are responsible for engaging your own licensed professionals before acting on anything you learn here.

APRN Academy is not an accredited institution and does not award continuing education credit, academic credit, or any professional credential. If APRN Academy ever obtains CE approval, that approval will be stated explicitly on the class page.

3. Who these classes are for

Classes are written for nurses, nurse practitioners, and other licensed clinicians in the United States who are considering or already operating a practice or clinical business. You are responsible for practising only within your own license, scope, state law, and payer agreements.

4. Registration and delivery

Live classes are delivered online through a video conferencing platform. Joining details and any class materials are provided to the email address you give at registration, so please enter it accurately. Automated email delivery is still being finalized, so some communication may be sent manually while we complete that setup.

You do not need to create an account to attend a live class. Where a student portal or admin area exists, it is for enrolled or authorised users only, accounts are for a single named person, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

5. Scheduling changes

Dates and times are published in United States Central Time. If a live class must be rescheduled or cancelled by APRN Academy, we will contact registrants using the details they provided and communicate the options available for that class.

6. Materials and license to use them

Class recordings (where offered), workbooks, slides, checklists, and templates are owned by APRN Academy. Registration grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use them inside your own practice.

You may not resell, redistribute, republish, share logins or class links, record sessions, or teach from APRN Academy materials without written permission.

7. Conduct during live classes

Do not submit or discuss protected health information (PHI), patient identifiers, or clinical records in registration forms, chat, or live sessions. Use de-identified examples only.

APRN Academy may remove any attendee who is disruptive, records without permission, or shares access with non-registrants.

8. Payments

Prices are shown in US dollars and are the launch prices in effect at the time of purchase. Card payment processing is planned through Stripe; where card payment is not yet available for an offer, that is stated on the class page and no payment is taken. APRN Academy does not receive or store your full card details. Applicable refund, transfer, and cancellation terms for a paid offer are disclosed at checkout or registration before you pay.

9. No guarantees

No income, revenue, patient volume, reimbursement, credentialing, contracting, or business outcome is promised or implied. See the Earnings Disclaimer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, APRN Academy and Larry Wilkes are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of this site, the classes, or the materials. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Disputes

If a problem arises, contact lwilkes@aprnacademy.com first so we can try to resolve it directly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way is governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where APRN Academy operates.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the offerings change. The version in effect when you register applies to that registration, and the current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date.
