1. Information we collect

Registration and contact details you submit voluntarily: first and last name, email address, optional mobile phone number, professional role, the class or service you are interested in, and any message you write.

Payment information where card payment is available for a paid class: the payment processor handles the card and returns to us limited purchase details such as the amount, the email used, and the class and session selected. Full card numbers never reach APRN Academy.

Basic technical and marketing attribution data: the page you landed on, referring source, and campaign parameters (for example utm_source or utm_campaign) when present in the link you clicked.

2. What we do not want and do not collect

Do not submit protected health information (PHI), patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or any patient records through this site. This is a business-education site, it is not a clinical system, and no form here is a HIPAA-covered channel. Anything of that nature that is submitted will be deleted.

3. How we use information

To record and manage your registration, contact you about the class or service you asked about, answer your questions, process any payment you make, keep ordinary business and financial records, and understand which marketing sources are working.

4. Marketing email

If you register or opt in, we may email you about upcoming APRN Academy classes. Marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing does not affect communication about a class you already registered for.

5. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers used to operate the site and its services, such as hosting and database infrastructure, communication tools, video conferencing, and payment processing. Each acts on our instructions. We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Security and retention

Data is stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security policies, and public forms are submitted through server-side handlers with rate limiting rather than direct database access.

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for and for ordinary business and record-keeping needs. You can ask us to delete your record where no legal or accounting obligation requires us to keep it.

7. Your choices

Email lwilkes@aprnacademy.com to request a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask for deletion. We handle reasonable requests as promptly as we can.

8. Children

This site is intended for licensed clinicians and adult professionals. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
